Home De-cluttering and Organizing
I dreaded walking into my garage and basement. After 23years of living in the same older two storey home where we had raised our two children. They had since moved out to start their own lives leaving behind all their unwanted items such as years of sports equipment, old school books, clothing and shoes which either no longer fit or were no longer needed. We had also accumulated family belongings from parents of ours who have passed on. Many of these items we wanted to keep and use, but they had been stored in the garage to be dealt with "later". With two, more than full time jobs conducted by my husband and myself, we were unable to find the time. We've had many domestic assistants who had come and gone over the years and the junk had just piled up.
Lana and Diane to the rescue! Over 5 days last summer they restored the order to our home and garage and more importantly breathed life into our living space. I felt like it was the first deep breathe I had taken in my own home in several years. It felt great seeing our no longer needed items redistributed to others in need. My daughter was so excited to see her old double bed on Lana's car roof headed off to relieve a young teen who was sleeping on an air mattress.
I cannot fully express in words how easy it was to work with them both. They are both very professional and almost therapeutic in their approach. Once they persuaded me to start redistributing things I almost couldn't stop. Hiring Jigsaw was the best money I spent last year. Don't delay.

I hired Jigsaw Organization Inc. to help me with my business. I am an antique dealer who deals in mostly small decorative items and jewelry. Like most of my peers, being organized is something that doesn't come easily or naturally. I frequently struggle with finding things and waste much time doing so.
Jigsaw converted an unused room into my office. I love the way the concept perfectly fits my needs. They spent time with me and really got a feel for what I needed to help improve my business space. I was blown away when I first saw the results. I never could have imagined a better layout.
A big part of my business is jewelry repair and I have an enormous amount of gems, stones, beads, and various small items needed for this. Jigsaw took on the task of organizing all of it. Then they invented a system to help me easily find what I need when I need it. They also took the time to explain to me how it works, how to best benefit from it, and how to easily maintain it.
My overall experience with Jigsaw was outstanding. For someone like me who struggles daily with being organized, it was incredible to see how they envisioned what needed to be done then implemented it. I never would have been able to do that. The way they helped improve my business has had a huge impact on its success.

It is not difficult to imagine a world with laundry and kids and clothes that have seen a better day and an endless stream of incoming mail and bills and "to dos" that one ends up in deep overwhelm. Estate Sale and Home Clearing Prior to Home Sale
Last year at this time our mother passed away leaving a loving home full of memories and personal possessions. A short time frame was needed to empty the home and finalize its sale. I was provided with 3 different companies that specialize in doing this type of business from my real estate agent. After carefully scrutinizing all companies only one stood out head and shoulders above the others. That was Jigsaw Organization Inc. They had the contacts, the work ethic and the sympathy to help us in our time of need.
Lana Marie and Diane went above and beyond in making sure that my mother's personal clothing would be donated to special groups (i.e. single moms, families in distress, and individuals) down on their luck. They not only emptied the home but made sure it was totally cleaned before the sale. Jigsaw arranged for an estate sale publishing the event in areas that people watch. They contacted organizations that paid cash to take away some of the bigger furniture items that would be hard to sell at a weekend sale. From start to finish it was one of the best decisions I could have ever made. They put life's puzzle back into its proper place. Again to Lana Marie and Diane a huge "THANK YOU!".

I would like to share the experience I had when my family and I used Jigsaw Organization Inc. to help us with our long distance move. We didn't know where to begin and the feeling of being overwhelmed was truly intense. I have moved several times in the past and have some knowledge and experience, but this was a really big move. It's hard to verbalize the feeling of both relief and a weight being lifted off my shoulders once acquiring Lana's service. I no longer felt alone and I knew immediately that she was the solution to our problem.
The following is a list of some of the services Jigsaw provided for us:
- Helped us with deciding what we were going to keep and what we were going to give up. She helped us look at things through different eyes and assisted us in making the right decisions.
- Packed the entire house for transport across the country.
- Hired and arranged professional movers to assist her in packing all our possessions into a moving van with space restrictions. The movers would never have gotten it done without her instructions. She was amazing!
- Cleaned the house and prepared it for the buyer.
- Upon arrival in our new city she hired and arranged movers to assist her in loading all our stuff from the van into a storage unit until we found a home. This was no small task because some of the stuff going into storage was commercial merchandise that needed to be accessible and the storage unit needed to be functional.
- Upon finding a house she hired and arranged movers to assist her in moving our belongings from storage to our new home.
- Unpacked and unwrapped all our belongings.
- Hung, folded, arranged, and organized all our clothing and shoes in a well thought out manner. She arranged & organized all the dressers. She turned an odd space into a great closet by installing shelves, hooks and clothing rods.
- Set up and organized a small bathroom that a family needed to share.
- Organized our basement storage with a system that was easy to locate things.
- Hung pictures and mirrors with precision and a great eye for design.
- Removed the enormous amount of garbage and recycling from packing materials that was used in the move. It would have taken us months to dispose of it all using the regular waste service.
- Contacted and set up all the utilities including cable and internet and was here to give them access to the house and ensure proper setup.
- In a second bedroom she painted and installed a wooden shelving system and made an incredibly well designed closet.
- Cleaned the kitchen top to bottom before arranging and organizing all our items in the best way possible. Our kitchen is one of my personal favourite jobs she did. We have a small galley kitchen and the way it worked out is so smart and well planned. All the drawers and shelves have dividers, devices, or additions to help capitalize on the small space we had to work with. Lacking kitchen pantry, Lana removed a door and converted an empty closet into a huge pantry that was really needed. We get compliments on our kitchen all the time from house guests that are so impressed with her ideas.
Change is never easy and moving can be one of life's biggest challenges. I can't imagine how the stress would have negatively affected us if it wasn't for Jigsaw. In my opinion the cost was well worth every cent. I highly recommend that you hire this company. Not only was their service invaluable their compassion, kindness, attention to detail, and determination to do the best work possible exceeded all our expectations. It was truly a dream move for us!
